I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT#88619. I received my graduate training at the University of San Francisco. I received my BA in Communications from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania.
I welcome collaboration and creativity in the therapeutic process. My approach is to listen with curiosity and attention. Together we can decide what form our work will take. We will work together to uncover the new narrative of your life’s story. My orientation to the work is relational and I frequently utilize a Narrative approach as well.
I am committed to, and experienced in working with the LGBTQIA community. I have significant clinical experience working with gender-flexible and transgender-identified individuals, couples and youth. I especially enjoy working with couples on parenting issues—in general, and related to transgender populations specifically.
I am passionate about working with individuals with learning differences, as well as parents of children who’ve been identified. I can address the psychological issues that frequently arise when one has a learning style that is not well suited to traditional school and work settings. I am also able to work on concrete strategies to address the learning issues specifically. I understand the challenges that parents can face in taking care of their complex children.
